The plant belongs to the late-ripening group and is characterized by a hermaphroditic flower type and black berry color. The variety exhibits general resistance to grape diseases. In addition to the name Advokatac, the synonyms Glavinuša, Okatac, Abokatac, Brgljun, and Crljenak are found in botanical literature.
