The variety Alvarinho Lilás B is a wine grape intended for winemaking. Despite the name, the variety belongs to the white grape category, and the word «Lilás» in its name is not a description of the berry shade. The variety is a hybrid obtained from crossing the varieties Diagalves and Alvarinho.

This variety is officially included in the national catalog of Portugal and is authorized for cultivation in the Madeira region. The variety should be distinguished from the common variety Alvarinho, as they are different types.
