The variety is mid-early, possesses high growth vigor, and requires training on pergolas in conditions of high humidity. Yield is low and unstable, while it is resistant to drought and heat, but sensitive to fungal diseases and mite infestations.
Clusters are small and compact. Berries are small, round, and have a yellowish-green color, sometimes with a golden or pinkish tint to the skin. The variety is used exclusively for winemaking, in particular for producing white wines and Portuguese Vinho Verde.
