The vines of this variety are vigorous and require training. Leaves are medium or small, leathery, with a reticulated-wrinkled surface; young shoots have dense pubescence. Bunches are small, cylindrical or cylindrical-conical in shape. Berries are small, round, turning amber with a pinkish hue when ripe, and have thick skins.
The variety has low yields and is susceptible to rot due to high humidity, which requires cultivation on high trellises for better aeration. The purpose of the variety is exclusively for wine production: making dry white wines that possess freshness, notes of stone fruits, citrus, and minerality.
