The variety is the result of crossing (Riesling × St. Laurent) × Zweigelt. The bush is characterized by medium-vigorous growth with upright shoots. The leaf is medium-sized, round in shape, three- or five-lobed.

The cluster is medium-sized, dense, conical in shape. The berry is medium-sized, round, blue-black in color. Full maturity occurs at the end of September or the first half of October.

The variety has medium resistance to fungal diseases and grey mold; frost resistance is medium. Productivity is high, averaging 14.5 t/ha. The wine is characterized as full-bodied, harmonious and velvety, with soft tannins.
