The variety has vigorous vines and requires load control to maintain high yield. Leaves are large, round, five-lobed, with dense bristly-cobwebby pubescence on the underside. Clusters are large, cylindrical-conical, ranging from loose to medium-dense. Berries are white or light yellow-green in color, round or slightly flattened in shape.
The grapes ripen in mid-October. The variety is characterized by high resistance to fungal diseases, including grey mold, but is sensitive to frost and drought. Wines made from it have a high acid content, which makes them suitable for creating sparkling wines, and also allows for light and harmonious table wines.
