Arany sárfehér Kt.2 is a certified clone aimed at optimizing the economic performance of the original variety, including plant productivity and phytosanitary status. The base variety Arany sárfehér belongs to late-ripening wine varieties and is intended for the production of white and sparkling wines.

The variety has high yield and resistance to grey mold, but is sensitive to frost and drought conditions. The wine material obtained from this variety is characterized by pronounced acidity and moderate alcohol content, which makes it a sought-after component for blending and a base for sparkling wines.
