The variety belongs to the species Vitis vinifera, characterized by late bud break and a late ripening period. Clusters are large and dense; berries are large, round, with transparent yellow-gold skin and juicy pulp.

The plant possesses high resistance to drought and strong winds, as well as good resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew. Traditional training in the variety's homeland involves a low-growing 'basket' form for protection against winds and sunburn.

The grapes are used exclusively for wine production, including single-varietal dry wines, dessert wines, and blends. The products are distinguished by aging potential, structure, and a characteristic high acidity even when the berries are fully ripe.
