Variety description

The variety is genetically identical to Greco bianco and has a late ripening period. The plant has perfect flowers and high vigor of shoot growth. Traditionally, the variety is grown using the Alberata Aversana system, in which vines are trained upward on supports to a height of up to 15 meters, although modern plantings use Guyot and counter-espalier systems.

The wine grape variety is intended for the production of white wines in the Aversa DOC zone, including sparkling wines. The products are characterized by freshness, pronounced acidity, low alcohol content of about 11%, and the presence of lemon and vegetal notes in the aroma.
