The variety is a complex interspecific hybrid obtained from crossing the variety Regent and the hybrid VRH 3082-1-42 (Vitis vinifera x Muscadinia rotundifolia). The vines are characterized by medium vigor and semi-erect shoots. The leaves are pentagonal, deeply incised, and three- or five-lobed.

The clusters are small, compact, and cylindrical-conical or conical in shape. The berries are small, round, dark blue, and covered with a thick bloom. The berry flesh is juicy, and the skin is of medium thickness. The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity group; the harvest matures in the third ten-day period of September.

The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, but is sensitive to black rot and can be affected by grey mold. Medium winter hardiness and high sensitivity to magnesium deficiency are noted. The cultivation techniques involve the use of short pruning.
