Variety description

The variety is a complex interspecific hybrid obtained by crossing a descendant of Muscadinia rotundifolia and the variety Regent. The vines have medium vigor. Leaves are pentagonal, three- or five-lobed, deeply incised, with a closed petiole sinus.

Bunches are small, dense, and cylindrical-conical in shape. Berries are small, round, dark blue, and covered with a thick waxy bloom. The variety is characterized by high yield and complete resistance to powdery mildew, as well as good resistance to downy mildew, however, it is susceptible to black rot. Cold hardiness is medium.

A wine grape variety for wine production. The resulting wines are distinguished by good color, fruity aromas with possible herbaceous notes, and a harmonious taste without foxy tones. The variety is suitable for creating wines intended for early consumption.
