Vine of medium vigor. Bunches are medium-sized, elongated, dense, often with a "wing". Berries are small, round, yellow-green in color, sometimes with a tan on the sunny side. The pulp is juicy, sweet, with a high juice yield.
The variety is demanding of conditions: it prefers well-drained sunny sites with calcareous or chalky soils, protected from the wind. It tolerates drought poorly and is sensitive to herbicides and spring frosts due to early bud break. Shoots are fragile and require mandatory tying.
The variety is susceptible to gray mold late in ripening and powdery mildew. The grapes are used to create elegant, full-bodied white wines with high acidity, notes of citrus, tropical fruits, flowers and honey, as well as a characteristic salty mineral note.
