Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is distinct and a wine grape; it should not be confused with the Italian variety Brachetto. The plant is mid-season, characterized by naturally low yields, and is well-adapted to poor soils and hot, dry growing conditions.

The main problem in cultivating this variety is its high susceptibility to Botrytis (grey mold). Wines produced from Braquet N are characterized by their lightness and delicate aroma.
