The variety is a wine grape characterized by leaves smaller than average size with a five-lobed structure and dense pubescence on the underside. The bunches are compact, medium-sized, with round berries from small to medium size. To obtain stable yields, short pruning is recommended, as buds often do not open on long canes.
The plant is resistant to grey mold (Botrytis cinerea) and has low susceptibility to powdery mildew, however, it is prone to damage by leafhoppers. The variety is used for the production of red wines, possessing tannins and distinct aromas of red fruits and blackcurrant, as well as a breeding material for selection.
