Corbinella padovana is a rare wine grape variety whose cultivation history in the Euganean Hills area dates back to the 17th century. In literature, the variety is often mentioned in connection with the “Corbine” group and the Corvina variety, however, in modern ampelographic databases, it is distinguished as an independent object of genetic diversity.

The variety is intended for the production of wine possessing a deep red color with violet hues. Historically, the variety was displaced by more productive international varieties, but it is currently a subject of research on the conservation of rare local grape cultures.
