Corinto nero is a historical variety with small dark red or black berries and five-lobed leaves. A key biological feature is parthenocarpy, which ensures the absence of seeds in the fruit. The bunches of the variety are small and have a loose structure.

The plant demonstrates high resistance to drought and salt winds, adapting to complex soil conditions, including volcanic soils. The variety is characterized by low yield and slow ripening. In winemaking, the product is noted for its pronounced acidity, minerality, and aromas of red fruits and spices.
