Variety description

The variety is late-ripening and possesses good vegetative potential. The plant's leaves are large, five-to-seven-lobed, with dense pubescence on the underside; the flower is hermaphroditic. The thick skin of the berries allows the variety to successfully tolerate a humid maritime climate.

Wines from this variety are characterized by notes of citrus, flowers, bay leaf, and stone fruits. Due to moderate or low acidity, the grapes are often used in blends to increase the aromatic complexity of the drinks.
