The variety is a natural hybrid of Hebén and an unknown parent. The grapes are characterized by early bud burst, which makes them sensitive to spring frosts. The plant forms compact bunches with berries that have a rather thick skin, while shoot vigor varies depending on the conditions.
The variety is susceptible to downy mildew, grey mold, and phomopsis cane and leaf spot. Old vines require short pruning. The resulting wines are characterized by pronounced acidity, moderate tannins, and an aromatic profile with notes of red berries, pepper, and wild herbs.
