Emperor is a vigorous table grape variety. The leaves of this variety are large, five-lobed, with tomentose pubescence on the underside of the blade.
The clusters are very large, narrow-conical in shape, winged, and of medium density. The berries are large, and the skin color is indicated in various sources as black or pink-red. The flower type is hermaphrodite.
