Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety was obtained as a result of crossing Seyve-Villard 5276 and the hybrid Riesling × Pinot gris. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and an upright shoot position. The ripening period varies from medium to early. With high yields, crop load management is required to maintain harvest quality.

The variety possesses increased frost resistance, withstanding temperature drops down to -23 °C, and resistance to spring frosts. It exhibits high resistance to powdery mildew and relative resistance to downy mildew, while being sensitive to gray mold. The vine is characterized by good maturation.

Used exclusively as a wine grape variety for the production of white wines with a neutral taste and floral-fruity aromas. Due to its resistance, the variety is often used in breeding work as a parental form for creating new hybrids.
