The vine is vigorous or moderately vigorous with rounded 3- or 5-lobed deeply dissected leaves. Clusters are medium, dense, cylindrical or cylindro-conical in shape. Berries are small or medium, rounded, having a yellowish-golden color, with pink and red-brown variations also existing.
The ripening period is usually early or medium. The variety is sensitive to adverse weather conditions and diseases in cool and humid climates, and due to the early onset of vegetation, it is susceptible to damage by spring frosts.
A wine variety used for the production of still dry and dessert wines, sparkling wines, and fortified beverages. Possesses characteristic notes of citrus, peach, rose, and honey.
