Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is of likely Greek origin and is historically distributed throughout the Mediterranean. It is an early to mid-season ripening grape with moderate vine vigor and upright or semi-upright shoots. Due to early bud break, the variety is sensitive to spring frosts.

Berries are small, round, with thin skins, turning from light green to golden upon ripening; mutations with pink and red berries are known. The variety is susceptible to fungal diseases and prefers a dry and warm climate. The grapes are distinguished by a high sugar potential and pronounced floral, fruity, and spicy notes in the aroma.
