It has high yield, is susceptible to downy mildew and gray mold, and is used for the production of light red wines.
The Zlatarica variety is a Croatian wine grape variety with a perfect but functionally female flower and small three-lobed leaves. Clusters are loose, berries are yellow-green with high sugar content. The variety is sensitive to downy mildew and is used for making dry table and dessert wines.
