Variety description

The variety is an autochthon of the Jura region in France, known since the 14th century. Maturity period is early, flower is hermaphroditic. Bunches are small, conical, medium density or loose. Berries are medium, rounded or slightly oval, dark pink or purple in color with thin translucent skin.

The plant is considered capricious and difficult to cultivate. The variety is susceptible to fungal diseases such as powdery mildew, downy mildew, and grey mold, sensitive to sunburn, and prone to flower drop. Due to early bud break, it is susceptible to damage by spring frosts. The yield of the variety is medium.
