The variety, also known as Moll or Prensal Blanc, is used to create both monovarietal wines and blends with other varieties. It is characterized by high yield and susceptibility to powdery mildew. The vines are adapted to calcareous and stony soils.
Wines from this grape possess a delicate aromatic profile with notes of apple, pear, citrus, peach, flowers, and almond. The taste is distinguished by balanced acidity and often a pronounced mineral finish, due to the maritime climate of the growing region.
