Preto Cardana (Preto Cardana T) belongs to technical wine grape varieties of Portuguese origin. Genetically, the variety is a descendant of Negramoll, which arose as a result of natural crossing. It was also used in breeding work as a parent variety for the development of the Campanario variety.

The berries of this variety have black skin. Preto Cardana is considered a minor, widely rare variety in Portuguese viticulture. Detailed morphological characteristics and agrotechnical indicators are not presented in open references.
