Variety description

The variety is ancient, known under the synonyms Bela and Honigler. Bud burst occurs at a medium time, ripening belongs to the first epoch, approximately one and a half weeks after the Chasselas variety.

Young shoots have dense pubescence. Mature leaves are round, three- or five-lobed with a U-shaped petiolar sinus. Clusters are medium or large, berries are medium, round or slightly flattened.

The variety possesses high vigor and yield, requiring long pruning. It is distinguished by low frost resistance and sensitivity to Botrytis cinerea and downy mildew, while being characterized by good drought tolerance.
