The variety was obtained by open pollination of the Pinot gris variety. The vines have medium vigor; leaves are small, rounded, and five-lobed. Flowers are hermaphroditic, and the variety is self-fertile.

Bunches are cylindrical-conical in shape, with an average weight of about 192 g. Berries are small, round, with firm yellow-green skin and a waxy bloom; the flesh is juicy with a neutral taste. The variety is distinguished by high shoot fertility and a yield of about 5 kg per vine.

The active vegetation period is 178–180 days. Early bud break and good vine ripening contribute to resistance to winter frosts.
