The clone was selected in Germany in the Mosel region near Bernkastel. Biologically, it corresponds to the characteristics of the "Riesling" variety and is included in state registers as authorized propagation material.
The variety belongs to late-maturing wine grape varieties. It is characterized by vigorous shoot growth, small, compact, cylindrical clusters, and small yellow-green berries with thick skins. Riesling has high winter hardiness and is used in breeding programs for evaluating quality and disease resistance.
