The variety is a descendant of Carignan and an unknown wild grape species that conferred disease resistance to it. The variety is intended for winemaking and is considered a promising material for environmentally sustainable viticulture with a low level of chemical treatments.
Currently, detailed morphological characteristics, such as ripening time, description of bunches or leaves, are absent in open publications. The variety is undergoing official trials to evaluate its oenological potential.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
