The variety is intended exclusively for use as a rootstock and is not grown for berry production. It has a powerful, deeply penetrating root system that ensures efficient moisture utilization. Due to its high vigor, it can influence scion development, potentially causing zinc deficiency or reduced fruit set in some varieties.

It is characterized by high resistance to nematodes, drought, and salinity, and adapts well to poor, slightly acidic, and moderately alkaline soils, as well as to high lime content. Resistance to phylloxera is rated as moderate. Research indicates a possible influence of using this rootstock on the chemical composition of grapes, particularly an increase in methoxypyrazine levels, which may affect the aromatic properties of the wine.
