Variety description

The variety is a natural hybrid of the Ribier noir and Grec rose varieties. The leaf is wedge-shaped or round, five-lobed, deeply dissected, and dark green in color. The petiole sinus is open or slightly open, V-shaped or with a flat-pointed base. Pubescence on the underside of the leaf is absent or very weakly expressed.

The cluster is medium-sized and compact. The berry is medium to large, with moderately thick skin and abundant waxy bloom. The flesh is firm and juicy, and the taste is simple. The bushes are vigorous, the variety belongs to the early maturity group and is characterized as productive.

The variety is sensitive to downy mildew and has relative resistance to powdery mildew. The main purpose is winemaking; the variety can also be used as a table grape. Synonyms of the variety: Durasaine, Durazaine, Raisaine Blanche, Raizaine.
