Raboso Veronese is a descendant of the Raboso Piave and Marzemina Bianca varieties. It is a vigorous variety, characterized by high resistance to fungal diseases, rot, drought, and cold, although it has a tendency toward flower abortion.

Bunches of the variety are medium, long, and compact. Berries are blue-black in color, oval or spheroidal, with thick skin and juicy pulp. Autumn leaves have a yellow color.

The variety is intended for winemaking. The wines obtained from it possess an intense ruby color and a high level of tannins, often requiring long aging or drying to soften the structure. The aromatic profile is dominated by notes of cherry, plum, blackberry, and violet.
