The variety has interspecific origin and was obtained as a result of crossing the varieties Aurora and Gloria Hungariae or Gloria Hungariae and Seibel 5-279. The plant is classified as a table grape.

The variety exhibits increased tolerance to fungal diseases, including downy mildew, powdery mildew, and gray mold. Studies confirm the ability of the buds of the variety to overwinter better compared to many other grape varieties.
