The variety is an interspecific hybrid, in whose genetics are present resistance genes from the American species Vitis rupestris, Vitis aestivalis, Vitis rotundifolia and the Asian species Vitis amurensis. The Voltis variety was used in the breeding.

The plant possesses complex resistance to diseases: no fewer than two resistance genes to downy mildew and powdery mildew, as well as low susceptibility to black rot and grey mold. It belongs to the category of PIWI resistant varieties, the use of which allows for a significant reduction in fungicide treatments.
