The variety is a wine grape used for the production of a wide range of Muscat wines. The period from bud burst to technical maturity is 140–160 days. The vine is characterized by medium vigor.
Clusters are medium-sized, predominantly dense, cylindrical or cylindrical-conical in shape. Round berries acquire a golden-yellow hue upon ripening. The juicy pulp has a rich Muscat aroma with notes of tea rose and fruits.
The variety has low resistance to fungal diseases and requires protection. Frost resistance is low, requiring placement in protected areas. The sugar content of the berries is high, ranging from 18–25%, reaching 32% under favorable conditions.
There is a separate variety, Tamyanka Chernaya, which is genetically different from Muscat Blanc, which should be taken into account when identifying seedlings.
