The vine is vigorous. The leaf is medium-sized, pentagonal, three-lobed. The cluster is small, cylindrical-conical, medium-dense. The berry is medium or large in size, round, dark blue or violet-black in color with a waxy bloom. The flower is hermaphroditic.
The variety is of medium-late or late ripening period. Yield is average and stable. Berries may ripen unevenly, and mature clusters are prone to shedding. The level of resistance to fungal diseases and frost is characterized as low.
Wine from this variety is distinguished by pronounced tannins and acidity. The aroma features notes of dark berries, licorice, dark chocolate, earth, and spices. Used for creating varietal wines or blends.
