This clone is an independent numbered form of the classic Teleki 5C rootstock. It is intended exclusively for use as a rootstock for cultivars of Vitis vinifera and is characterized by moderate growth vigor.

The plant possesses good resistance to phylloxera, and also exhibits tolerance to downy mildew and powdery mildew. The clone is well adapted to loamy soils and soils with a high content of active calcium, however, it is not recommended for planting on sandy, cold, or waterlogged sites.

The use of this rootstock contributes to the improvement of flowering quality and berry set in grafted cultivars. The ability of this form to provide resistance to abiotic stress caused by drought is also being studied.
