Variety description

The variety is a rootstock and is not intended for berry production. The vines are vigorous. The shoot tip is copper-colored with light to medium pubescence. The leaves are large, dark green, with distinct bristly pubescence along the veins. The flower is functionally female.

The rootstock has good resistance to phylloxera and fungal diseases, with the exception of powdery mildew. It tolerates active lime in the soil well, although this indicator may be lower than in other Teleki hybrids. The variety adapts to a wide range of soils, including heavy, poorly drained, and poor stony soils.

It is characterized by good graft compatibility with scion varieties. The K.147 marking refers to the selection number of the specific clone used to identify the genetic material of the rootstock.
