Variety description

The variety is a natural genetic mutation of the red Tempranillo variety, being 97.8% genetically identical to it. The plant has medium to above-average vigor with a semi-erect habit. The leaves are lighter and less pubescent than those of the parent variety, the clusters are smaller and looser, and the berries have a slightly flattened shape.

The variety is resistant to drought and wind, adapts well to soils with low fertility, but is susceptible to acariosis and European grapevine moth. The grapes are intended for the production of white wines, which are characterized by high alcohol content, good acidity, and an aromatic profile with notes of citrus, tropical fruits, and white flowers.
