Variety description

This clone is characterized by very vigorous growth, which contributes to strong development of the scion's vegetative mass. It possesses a deep-penetrating root system and good rooting rates. On deep, fertile soils, intensive shoot growth may lead to reduced pigment accumulation in berries and shatter of the ovaries.

The rootstock exhibits high resistance to phylloxera and good adaptation to various soil conditions, including wet sites. It tolerates active lime content in the soil of up to 20%; however, there is a risk of chlorosis on high-carbonate soils. Due to the creation of a dense green canopy, it may increase the susceptibility of the grafted variety to gray mold.
