This form is a rootstock variety intended for grafting European grapevine varieties (Vitis vinifera). It is characterized by moderate vigor and high resistance to phylloxera, as well as relatively good resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew.

The rootstock exhibits moderate tolerance to active lime in the soil. It is well-suited for loamy soils, however, it is not recommended for planting in cold, sandy, or waterlogged areas. Its use has a positive effect on the fruit set of the scion, especially in varieties prone to flower abortion.
