The vine is vigorous. Clusters are medium-sized, conical, or less frequently cylindrical in shape, and medium-dense. Berries are medium-sized, round or slightly oval, bluish-black in color with a thick waxy skin and juicy, pigmented pulp. It belongs to the mid-late varieties.
The variety has low resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew; frost hardiness ranges from -15 to -18°C. Yield is medium. It is used for producing wines with intense color, high acidity, and notes of red and wild berries, spices, and mineral undertones.
