The variety is a wine grape intended for winemaking. The bunches are small or very small, compact, conical in shape, with an average weight of about 110 g. The berries are medium-sized, spherical or slightly elongated, with a waxy bloom and amber-pink skin.

The variety is characterized by an early-medium or early ripening period and medium vigor. It has good resistance to fungal diseases and the European grapevine moth (Lobesia botrana), but is sensitive to chlorosis. Guyot training systems with medium or long pruning are recommended.

The berry flesh is fleshy, with a characteristic intense aroma. Wines made from this variety are noted for their full body, oiliness, high content of aromatic compounds, and good aging potential.
