The variety was developed by interspecific hybridization of the Dunavska Gamza and Marseille Black varieties. It is intended for creating harmonious red wines with good density and softness, suitable for consumption without long aging, and is also suitable for ecological winemaking.
The bush has moderate vigor and good ripening of annual shoots. Leaves are medium-sized, thin, rounded, three-lobed, and glabrous. Clusters are medium, cylindrical, often winged, and semi-compact. Berries are oval, medium-sized, and have purple-red skin with an abundant waxy bloom.
The variety possesses increased resistance to winter temperatures and major fungal diseases, including downy mildew, powdery mildew, and gray mold. Due to its resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses, it is recommended for cultivation in all viticultural regions.
