The variety has a centuries-old history of origin and is a product of natural mutations and folk selection. Vines are characterized by medium or weak vigor. Leaves are small, rounded, funnel-shaped, with felt-like pubescence on the underside. Clusters are compact, cylindro-conical, small or medium in size. Berries are light pink in color with a waxy bloom and melting, delicate pulp.
The variety possesses relative winter hardiness, but is sensitive to drought and late spring frosts due to early bud break. Moderately susceptible to downy mildew and gray mold, it requires protection from pests such as spider mites and leafrollers. It possesses a harmonious taste and a specific aroma reminiscent of tea rose.
