The variety has a very ancient origin and is genetically close to the wild forest vine. Bushes are characterized by medium or vigorous growth. Leaves are dark green, rounded, slightly lobed, with an uneven bumpy surface.

Clusters are small, conical, and dense. Berries are small, rounded, with a thick skin, the color of which varies from gray-red to pale pink. The variety belongs to the medium or late maturity group.

Wines from this variety are distinguished by a full body and an intense aroma with notes of tea rose, honey, exotic fruits, and spices. Due to a tendency toward low acidity levels with high sugar accumulation, the variety is often used for the production of semi-dry and semi-sweet wines.
