The variety is the result of a natural crossing of the varieties Rojal Tinta and Heptakilo. The bunches are medium or large in size, cylindrical in shape with "wings," and the berries are spherical or ellipsoid. Due to the very thick skin, the variety has good transportability and late harvest dates, sometimes lasting until December.
The plant is undemanding and resistant to diseases, and tolerates the Mediterranean climate well. In winemaking, the variety is used to produce white and orange wines that are distinguished by good structure, natural acidity, and an aromatic profile with notes of stone fruits, apples, and herbaceous nuances.
