The variety is a vigorous plant with hermaphrodite flowers and large, slightly lobed leaves with dense tomentose pubescence on the underside. The ripening period is medium to late.
The plant requires careful maintenance, exhibits sensitivity to fungal diseases, in particular powdery mildew, and is prone to infection with grapevine fanleaf virus. Yield is unstable; heavy clusters form during ripening, which are prone to berry shatter.
Wines from this variety possess good structure and elegance. The organoleptic profile features notes of apple, pear, white plum, citrus, and white flowers, as well as mineral and flinty nuances.
