The plant is vigorous with an upright shoot growth habit. The leaf is round, slightly or moderately dissected, three- or five-lobed, with a reticulate-wrinkled surface and a closed petiolar sinus. The bunch is small or medium, cylindrical-conical in shape, medium density, often with a wing. The berry is small, round, white in color, with a thick waxy bloom and juicy flesh.
The variety belongs to the mid- or late-maturity groups. It is characterized by high and stable yields that require crop thinning. It has low resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and gray mold. It develops best on hilly sites with stony or clay soils.
It is used exclusively in winemaking. The wines possess structure, freshness, and pronounced aromas of flowers, apricot, and dried herbs, as well as a specific bitter almond flavor. The alcohol content in finished wines can reach up to 14.5%.
